Happy 40th birthday, Moon Landing!

This famous image and other lesser-known photographs from Apollo 11 can be found at this NASA site. I also like this one showing Buzz Aldrin setting up a seismometer. Should be subtitled, "Some Assembly Required."

Man, the moon is freaky-cool. I was in utero on July 20, 1969, so I guess you can say I "saw" it all.

To paraphrase my FB statement: I'm saddened to think that while considered, by some, old, I'm still among the youngest group of people alive who can remember watching a moon landing live. Where are the hotels on the moon? And the flying cars?
