Hard to believe, but we're coming up on the last two weeks of classes at Illinois. That means it's time for the last unit of my Communicating Visual Politics course: "visualizing and informing." This week we'll be talking about images like this one from Alexander Tsiaras, with the help of Nathan Stormer's great work on "prenatal sublimity." And we'll be looking at the work of Felice Frankel.
Next week, it's informational graphics, Edward Tufte, and David Byrne's adventures in PowerPoint.
