I agree completely Cara! College basketball is awesome because of the fact that on any given night, someone can get knocked off by a team they shouldn't. I am not sure I should admit this, but I am a Duke basketball fan. Even thought I was rooting for Duke, it was sure cool to watch Georgetown knock them off, knowing that Georgetown is going to lose to lesser rivals during the course of the season!

Nice Blog!

Duke? Scott, say it isn't so! Duke is Duke. And that's why we hate them! And all of the ACC, actually. Though I have to admit, I'm feeling this year like the Big 10 is actually getting a little of the love it deserves. Dickie V., for example, is all over Dee and Illinois. Usually he's 100% "Duke, baby!" and it just makes me want to scream.

The reason I am a Duke supporter is Coach K. It isn't the players. I think Coach K. is the best college coach in the nation, and I have a lot of respect for that. You rarely see Duke unprepared for a game, and when was the last time Coach K. got a technical foul? He never loses control like other coaches and seems to always respect his guys. A far cry from the Bob Knights of the world. I am glad Coach K. didn't go to the NBA, as I think his success and reputation would not equal what it is at Duke. Once he leaves, I will be a Dukie no more!
